I Need Your Support as @LordChrishy

As some of you might know, I’ve stepped into the music world.

I’ve been very, very fortunate to have the support by many in getting my first single into publication to the world.

The release of this song represents 22 years of hard work, dedication, and an incredible journey.
It’s going to be released via iTunes and everywhere February 11th.

As I sit here writing, I wonder what I might tell you. I consider you a friend, someone I lean on. Even if you’re a stranger, I rely on you. I look up to you. I use you as a supporter to help carry my baggage and let me reach higher ground.

It’s upon this thought that I know I must share EXACTLY what’s on my heart in this moment.

The long road…

It’s been a very long road to get to where I am today.

I’ve fought inner demons for decades; plagues that have torn my mind in pieces over, and over again. Plagues of disease, relationship, sexuality, and mind.

Upon the precipice of death, almost a year ago exactly, I finally decided it was time to follow my heart. When the road is so dark, light is very easy to find. It was time to let go of all the things others had decided for my life, and put into place what I knew in my heart was right, mine, and meaningful.

“Somewhere Over the Rainbow” was the song that brought me back to reality, and saved my life.

It’s always been music that has cleansed my soul, given me meaning, and allowed me to exist in a place that I find happiest.

I came out. I reached for more, heart pounding, ready to exist.

You’ve probably heard this story before, but now it’s my time to share it with more of the world.

Which brings us to now.

My first single is finished.
It represents countless hours at the piano.
Hours and hours spent tuning my voice.
It’s mastered.
It represents so much of me.
It has the support of radio stations and stars.
It’s ready for release on February 11th.
I decided to call it “Poisonous Love”.

It represents all the difficult, failed, or hurtful relationships I’ve been through in my life. Gay, straight, family…it doesn’t matter. They’ve all added to my life, I’ve learned from them, and I’m the person I am today because I’ve experience my own version of poisonous love.

We all experience a dose of poisonous love, in different ways, different times, and different colors.

It’s this time now that I share my soul with the world through this song. I’ve put my heart on a platter, and it’s beating for all to see.

You have the opportunity now, as my friend, confidant, family, colleague, and human…to share in supporting this heart.

It’s my call to the world to ask each of you to follow your heart.
Do what you know is best.

As soon as you decide to do what you know is you, the energy of ALL will help you follow through.

Do it.
Today.
Be you.
Live.
