The Tree Respects Life

I’ve been thinking a lot about relationships lately. Particularly how important it is to treat all relationships, petty or titanic, with incredible respect.

Do I thank the supermarket checker with a smile on my face? Are my actions a representation of the love I have for the human race? Am I loving all people enough, even when they have nothing to offer me? Even when they offend, reject, or humiliate?

I think on the tree who sends each of its leaves the same amount of nutrition and sustenance. The leaves atop are no greater than the leaves whom almost touch the ground.

The tree is no respecter of stature, simply, life.
