As of late I’ve been all about participating in new life experiences, events, travels, and people.
Even in the past month I’ve met many new people, made new friends, enjoyed various travels, gathered new clients, experimented with life, and enjoyed the results. It’s been a busy few weeks, but I’m always grateful to add each day to my growing pile of life.
Life should be fun.
Sitting with friends a few days ago I realized I was missing an experience.
I don’t know how to play poker.
I’ve never played, and I don’t know the first thing about the game.
Doesn’t everyone know to play poker?
Isn’t it considered an institution?
Although I don’t intend to become a gambler, I intend to learn how to play poker.
My “game plan” has been established.
Being that I already have the tool in place, I’ve decided to obtain the skill by playing Xbox poker. The World Championship Poker game for Xbox in particular. Good idea, right? The plan is to grab the game, and spend some time learning the ropes. An easy way to fill the bucket.
So, you might be asking what I might do with my new skills?
Well, probably nothing, but life is a roster.
A roster we build, collect, and manage.
Each item – an addition to the list.
Do you try and learn something new each day? Are you always looking for new experiences? Do you feel like you’ve experienced enough in life? What do you hope to be remembered for when you pass? Are you the one to push others into “doing things,” or do others have to push you?

"You’re such a smart boy!" were his first accolades heard. So, it’s no wonder that this phrase became the title of his business, Smart Boy Designs.
