Revival

Post image for Revival

There are only two types of people in this world. Those who fall to never get up, and those who rise once more.

When others tell you to lay low. Charge.

Drowning in tears is not a slow death; it’s simply an opportunity for revival.

Born three weeks premature and with a sever case of Jaundice, I had a slim chance of survival. Against all odds I was blessed with a one month birthday, and on.

If there’s belief, never take no for an answer.

Do not be afraid to talk. You have words within that will change the course of forever.

A stone to stumble upon is simply fun while falling.

Beating hearts are the body’s way of smiling.

It’s okay to be afraid. But realize that which is feared is often important.

Rise. Charge. Revival. Survival. Belief. Change. Fun. Smiling. Important.

Thank you Laurence. These were just some thoughts going through my mind, and had to get them out. Your photography always suits so well. They tend to summarize the emotions I feel well.

Thank you for sharing your gift.

Beautiful, Christian.
I, too, sometimes as if there are words inside me, not just there, but pushing to come out and be read. If only by myself. To keep trying, to keep believing and at times, to keep fighting. If only to survive.
Thank you.

Thank you for sharing those thoughts, Amber. If only I could fight successfully each and every day. Seems we need those “rest” days to just settle back down a bit.

Same here! I am a Jaundice baby. My dad was working outside of the country when my mom made the delivery. So 3 sisters of my mom took charge of all what my mom’s need. They never really thought that I will grow as as a responsible individual after living so many years now. Right now, I’m having trouble in making important decision in my life. I actually find it difficult for me to handle it. I just hope that I could be back on track again. Cause I believe, that’s the only way I could survive and change what I have right now and eventually enjoy my life.

I loved this post, Christian!

I have faced a mountain of struggle, suffering and hardship in my life and I have survived. I have the choice to get lost in the pain of the past, or move forward one step at a time. I choose to keep moving.

It’s not always easy, and I don’t always get it right, but I keep trying. I try because I refuse to be miserable as a result of a situation I can’t control. I try because I deserve a happy live. I try because I love me.

I don’t know what will happen tomorrow, and yesterday’s grief is in the past. All I have is today, and I’m going to make it great.

Thank you all for sharing. I hope you’ll forgive me in not responding to everyone this week. I’m back at school full time (20 units) and striving to get my schedule back in order!

Anyways, lovely thoughts.
Gives me some great things to think about.
