I like to have fun. I love videos.

That’s part of the reason why you’ll see a new video every few days on the sidebar of the blog.

I felt like now would be a good time to share a few of my favorite videos from YouTube. It’s incredible, the depth of content on the video site. It’s easy to get sucked in for hours.

I hope you enjoy these videos. There’s a lot of feeling behind each, for me, and I hope you feel that feeling too. May you be touched in a myriad of ways.

Well, here they are. In no order of importance.

The Neverending Story

Maybe you watched it as a child. Maybe you didn’t. This video will take you for a little journey into the past.

Ellen with her Hawaii Chair

If this doesn’t get you rolling with laughter, I don’t know what will.

Pirates of the Caribbean Piano Solo

I was sitting in bed, catching up on YouTube videos, when I found this one. All of the sudden, tears were streaming down my face. Sometimes incredible talent just touches me.

The Cello Song by Steven Sharp Nelson

Gorgeous. Stunning. Brilliant.

Amazing Grace by Il Divo

I just love the feeling by which they sing this song. Makes you appreciate the joys of life, and the power we achieve by working together.

I Won’t Let You Go

How many people are in our lives, that we’re not willing to let go? I know there are lots of those people in my life. The cinematography of this video is absolutely stunning.

29 year old hears herself for the 1st time!

The emotion within this film is powerful. I’m grateful for all I’ve been given in life. I’m grateful for the miracles of life.

Madeon – Pop Culture (Dance Video)

The expression unveiled via dancing fills my soul.

Jk Rowling Harvard Commencement Speech

Make sure you watch all parts in the commencement speech. Jk Rowling is both entertaining and inspiring.

Jackie Evancho on America’s Got Talent

This little girl was certainly given a gift.

Il Volo – ‘O Sole Mio

So young, yet sound like seasoned opera singers. Bravo!

A Video For Christian

All the students at the Institute of Religion made this video for me, to wish me well during my time of illness. I thought it was hilarious and kind.

Andrea Bocelli singing The Lord’s Prayer

This will probably go down, forever, as my favorite video on YouTube. Andrea has the voice of an angel.

That’s a wrap!

Well, that’s it! Thirteen YouTube videos I highly recommend and enjoy. There are thousands more I adore, but this is a good start. icon wink Top 13 Favorite YouTube Videos

I added some of these songs to my playlist on Spotify. Just in the nick of time! My playlist needs help! I listened to all of JK Rowling’s speech months ago. I ALMOST started reading the Harry Potter books because I was so impressed. But, I wasn’t thrilled with the books.
I love all (well, most) of the TED talks on youtube. I’m sure there is another non-TED video , but my memory is too full to sift through!
Good job!

I love all the Harry Potter books, but I love most books anyways – so I’m not much of a critic. lol. Her address is just spectacular. I didn’t realize she had such a humor.

TED talks on YouTube. Yes. Those are just brilliant!

Awesome videos Bruce. Superpiping it up! You’re like my Dad. Forever young and loving it! Although he’s much younger, I see him doing the pipe just the same!

Hey Christian!
I didn’t have a chance to look at all of these, but I’m going to. I’ve fallen in love with video myself and really want to start video blogging 5 days a week. It’s a huge undertaking but I might go for it 2012. I just watched your YouTube video about reaching 100K on twitter and think you are hilarious and NUTS. I also think you should document your insanity on house arrest until you hit 100K. That would be interesting! :)

Headed over there to make sure we are connected via YT.

Psst…you rock. :)

So excited to see your interest and build up in video. Once I get home this next week, I’ll be posting videos at least a few times weekly. It’s all so exciting. We better hop onto the video wagon, because it’s taking off quick.

Actually, it’s not a wagon. Too cool and advanced for that. The video spaceship?

Thanks for stopping by.

Good Stuff! Here is one that I love. The only drawback is there are a few “f-bombs” thrown around, yet none-the-less awesome..

That one is pretty cool, Jake. A friend showed me this video a while back, and he even did a cover of the song with this friends. It’s crazy how many songs are made with those same chords!

All are great Christian, the Rowling speech is 1 of my faves. To see a billionaire rise up so quickly from humble beginnings inspires me tremendously. Awesome stuff here.

That’s one of my favorites too. A simple, inspiring story. Well, really not even that simple. She’s a complex, incredible person. And to have that story just floating around in her head. Wow!

Man, I love music. I love any piano solo, so the Pirates video was great. I also enjoy cello, and the new rhythms were awesome. When I first heard the Jackie Evancho performance, I was teary-eyed. And how about when Susan Boyle cut loose on Britain’s Got Talent.

Great accumulation of videos Christian.
