  1. Get to know Jesus.
Hey I can only speak about what has worked for me! I’m a Christian so what else would you expect me to say? icon smile Recommendations for Living a Passion Filled Life
  2. Say ‘thank you’.
This will make you and the person you are thanking feel good.
  3. Find out what you love to do and do it!
What work would you do, even if you did not get paid for it? Might you explore lawn care, singing, or starting a book club?
  4. Don’t take things for granted.
Take notice of even the small things like a good parking spot or finding a quarter on the street.
  5. Meet new people.
Step out of your comfort zone and meet someone who is totally different than you. You might learn something new by talking to them.
  6. Travel near and far.
There are so many places to visit and so many lessons to learn once you get there.
  7. Tell family and friends that you love them.
Don’t wait until they pass away or something bad happens. Okay? Okay.
  8. R.I.P. now!
You don’t have to wait to die to rest in peace. Lay back, close your eyes and enjoy a life of peace today and all days thereafter.
  9. Smile often.
It will make you feel better. It hurts to frown and it makes you look awful!
  10. Share this list with someone else!
Be a resource for someone. It will make you feel useful. Someone will be happy to receive helpful information.

Thanks so much for reading and thanks to Christian for letting me stop by!

Remember to “Live each day to the fullest.

Hi Joii Cooper and Christian,
We know all of these on the list happen often times, I’m happy to read it again and again. By reading you can review and charge your inner self.

All in the list can do good in business… and to be honest I can’t relate RIP in the business I guest I can tag it for a fly by night company.

Using these items in life, as well as business, is a great way to look at the post. Thank you for that thought.

I agree with and heartily support nine of your ten…for that matter, I support believing in Jesus, even if I don’t. I come from a different faith, but I respect ANYONE, including my wife who does believe in Jesus. The odd thing is we have more in common than many friends from my own background who share my faith but NOT my values. Gratitude is the key to happiness and you imply that with every one of your wonderful suggestions! Excellent!

It seems the “faiths” all mix into who is really a good “person.” I know many of every faith who are incredible people, and people from every faith who I wouldn’t consider people with good values and actions.

Love to see how you and your wife are a little different. It’s fantastic to see relationships where each individual thinks different, and believes different, but the love and support is strong nonetheless.

Nice article. I try some of these things even though not all of them are for me. If religion can make a person more happy and helpful then that’s good. I notice I’m more productive and happy after I meditate, but I still forget to do it more than a couple times per week.

Although I’m religious, and go to church, etc….praying individually and meditation is where the real magic tends to happen in life. You’ve really got to have that personal connection with the spiritual, right?

“Meet new people” this is hard for me as I’m a introvert person and only like to talk with few known people, I usually wait for others to start talk with me as I’m always reluctant to start any conversation. I know this behavior is not good personally and professionally as well but I’m trying to come out from this nature.

What are some things you’re doing to expand and come out of that fear?

Meeting new people is a very good idea to filled your life with happiness you must always feel. They will give you several ideas that can help you in coping up some things. But, if you are not still living in the life you always wanted. Do not forget that Jesus is always there for you. he can protect you in all the things you have to do.

Great thoughts here, Tracy.

Seems we are able to learn from the good, and the bad, people offer us in life.

You are right Christian. Sometimes, our mistakes can help us learn all the things n life. If we cannot do it, for sure we will be able to live our life in a miserable way. In, my age, I always commit mistake. Still I’m here to face all the challenges life want to offer because of God.

Joii, thank you for offering your warmth and positive energy which is definitely caputured in your smile ~ great photo btw.

I have been trying to catch episodes of Oprah’s Lifeclass show on her OWN network. It’s funny how similar messages can come to you from many different directions. If you haven’t seen her show, I very much recommend it.

(Christian, I love your “antispam” message. It made me LOL, which is always appreciated.)

Very simple, but heartfelt list.

#1 doesn’t particularly resonate – since I’m Jewish – but if you replace with ‘get spiritual’ or ‘nurture your religious beliefs’ it works fine, right? The only one I would add is ‘respect your body’. I think that in all matters (love, work, play) it’s important to be respectful of our physical selves. Eat well, exercise, etc.

Our world seems to be falling apart when it comes to respecting body. We’re in a big hole, with nowhere to go. Wonder how we might change that part of our nature?

Respect of the body is so important. It is however so difficult at times for me. Do I sit on my tush or do I get up and get moving? :-) Great addition.

You have said it well Joii, I like your life perception and how you lived it. I also respect my own body that’s why I am taking care of it as much as possible. I don’t want to feel the signs of aging fast. :)

Hello Neney. Thanks so much for the comment. Indeed, respect for one’s body is very important. I could do better in that area. A little exercise would be great :-)
