The Wink in Leeks: #14

I thought I’d first share a nice little photo of myself as a mini Indiana Jones one Halloween.

Was just talking to Ruhani Rabin on Google+ about how much we love those movies. We’re fans.

Are you?

Enjoy the links this week. If you have any you’d like included next week, just contact me here.

Get better at design, dangit!

An awesome collection of 160+ web design tutorials is located here. I’m continually amazed by the quality and imagination of designers around the world. You are brilliant, my friends.

If you’re looking at adding some awesome brilliance to some of your photos, use the dark processed lomo effect created using Adobe Photoshop.

Be joyful and feel good.

I’ve been tweeting quotes this week from this wonderful collection of feel good quotes. You know what? They make me feel good.

Benny Hsu shared a post this week with 35 photos to inspire you to get busy traveling. I’m inspired to travel now.

A little miscellany.

The above video really inspired me this week.

Enough with the miscellany.

Let me leave you with one last thought.

Living On the Edge

“Why stay safe when you can live on the edge and discover things that you never dreamed possible?” -Tony Berkman

On Google+ Tony Berkman (CEO of BlogCatalog) and I were talking about the potential within each of us to discover and reach grand heights; if we but live on the edge.

So we decided to help one another live on the edge. We’ve been talking about it often, and it’s become a goal to live on the edge daily. Nothing great was ever accomplished by living in closed security. Take those chances and believe.

What are you doing to live on the edge?

He better. I’m giving him a run for his money if I have anything to say about it.

Plans for the weekend, Bruce?

You and Indiana Jones looks similar. Never thought that you have a wonderful face if you were waring the costume! This is really wonderful to read!
