A Glorious Thing the Fall

This post is the broadcast I sent today to the Smart Boy Designs email list. The email list has grown substantially over the past few months, with valuable information, thoughts and networking being offered. Don’t miss out! To sign up, just use the form on the right sidebar of every page of the blog. Enter in your email and name, and you’ll be part of this awesome club.

I sit here on my back porch on a beautiful Saturday. It’s October 1st. A month has come and gone – a new one arriving. I love change.

With this new month change most certainly abounds. Today might be beautiful, yes, but the breath of Fall is slowly making it’s way into every aspect of outdoor life. The air is a touch cooler, the sun a tad lower & squirrels ravenging the land for food.

What I love most about fall is the beauty of leaves.

Leaves are dedicated to change. Within a season they quickly change their color, teaching us that life can and will develop new colors, landscapes and attitudes.

You may notice that this newsletter comes at random, unidentifiable intervals. Although it’s always my intent to publish more often, the month doesn’t always turn out in such a way. Know it’s my goal to share more tips, more thoughts & more messages through the medium of email. I enjoy operating on a creative medium, and email gives me that wonderful freedom.

Blog Traffic Tip: Commenting on other blogs is a superb way to generate traffic, interest & a general buzz towards your blog. If you aren’t doing so already, I recommend spending ample time daily commenting on other blogs. And they need not all be related to your niche. Often you’ll find others in different industries becoming interested in your blogging project. Cut out TV time, gaming or another activity; and set it aside for your blog commenting needs.

In the spirit of change, I’m excited for the changes that will continue to evolve on Smart Boy Designs. I opened the forums for a period of time this week to new registrations, I’ve upped the content produced each week – and you can stay tuned for a brand new FREE service that will be available in the coming week. Hint: DoFollow.

Thank you for your constant support and involvement in my projects. I appreciate you all in specific, individual ways. I couldn’t accomplish anything without your inspired sharing & motivation.

Take a look at the leaves this coming week. Watch how they change. Let that change work in your own life, and make the next season even better.

Have a beautiful weekend,
Christian Hollingsworth

Wow, that is awesome christian. DoFollow is a great way to encourage more comment and to keep them coming. Love the fact that you are able to build up a good list. I am signing up right away. Before that, do you offer anything different vs your blog content on the list.

Thank you for taking the time to sign up Eddie. Really do appreciate that support.

The list usually includes a few thoughts, a tip for traffic or blogging, and sometimes resources that might be useful. It’s usually different than the blog, and caters to new and advanced bloggers. It’s fun.

Sometimes readers will reply to the email, and I’ll use some of those thoughts for future blog posts.

This is corny in the extreme, but I subscribed because your blog has a really calming energy about it. LOL! I’ve seen it around, but never stopped by. Glad I did.

Thank you for stopping by Jennifer. And even happier to know the posts make your morning. That makes me smile on the outside and inside.

Bloggers are everywhere – and I feel like they’re showing their faces in even more ways lately. Excited to see all the new blogs that pop up, the thoughts given, and the things we’ll learn from everyone sharing more of their passions and feelings.

It’s all very fascinating, this world of blogging.

Thanks for signing up for the newsletter, Janet. Excited to have you on board.

And yes, great minds think alike. How true it is. I love that. If only we could see everything we think of, and then match it up against one another. I wonder how similar we all would be to one another.

And you, please have an outrageous October yourself. I know you’ll make this month great. The projects you’re pushing out, the energy on your blog – all of it, you’re doing a great work.

Hey, Christian.

Love the photo of the changing leaves. You know, fall is my favorite season of the year other than spring. It’s simply gorgeous and I love the weather. And yes, it does remind me of change.

Did I read something about a forum in your post? That you’ve opened your forum back up? I didn’t realize you had one.

See you soon and continue enjoying fall!!!

Fall is my favorite too. Actually, I think I like all seasons due to their specific beauties and differences. I tend to be more of a cold weather person however.

Yes, the forum registration was open for a time. There was such a great response, I’ve decided to keep it open a bit longer. You can sign up for the next few days (until registration closes again) at http://smartboydesigns.com/forums/

Excited to see you on the forums!

Christian,

Fall, in the northeast, is my favorite season. As much for change that it represents as it is for the simple, physical beauty!

Thanks much.

And the northeast has some of the most beautiful leaves, too.

Change is a must and should be always welcomed. Change brings new things and leaves the old ones behind. Most people see fall as a depressing season, but without it there would be no spring.
