Tweet Spinner is a fantastic system to help automate the flow of Twitter followers.
In today’s age of social media, Twitter seemingly reigns close to supreme. With a user database to make even the largest of companies envious – Twitter has grown to fantastic size. With all of its pleasant uses, Twitter can become a hassle for companies managing more then one account.
This is where Tweet Spinner is so useful. In this review I hope to share some of its pros and cons.
Pros
Profile Rotator
Amongst Tweet Spinner’s many pros, the Profile Rotator function is elegant. With the click of a button you can set a schedule to automatically rotate your Twitter profile designs, URLs & bios.
I’ve found great use for this feature in Twitter profiles that point to a multitude of websites.
Follower Manager
The greatest tool included with Tweet Spinner is the way it manages your following. You’re given complete control over the filters and options in finding new Twitter users to follow – and the choice of unfollowing/cleansing those you already follow. These are just a few of the options available:
- “Purge” helps you find and unfollow spam and stale accounts. This particular action will find users who are not following you back, and who meet a number of configurable filters.
- “Prune” sifts through your Twitter friends and suggests ones to unfollow. Using customizable filters, we find friends who haven’t tweeted in a long time, tweet too many URLs, or tweet too much.
- “Followback” finds users who follow you (but you don’t follow back) – we employ a number a configurable filters to ensure that only legitimate, non-spam accounts are found.
- Mimic Following: Find people who other Twitter users follow (or are friends with) but who you don’t yet follow. (A perfect way to hone in on a competitor!) Customizable filters help you narrow the list. And reciprocity scores track return follows, too.

Depending on the level of your account, your “schedule” will run quicker. The benefit is that Tweet Spinner is very safe when it comes to Twitter. There’s virtually no threat of becoming banned due to mass-follow/unfollowing. Tweet Spinner operates on a 40 find/follow limit per action.
DM Tools
Tweet Spinner gives you tools for your Direct Messages as well.
With the click of a button you can instantly cleanse your DM Inbox of all spam DMs (I love this feature!). You’re also able to setup non-spammy auto DMs to be sent to your own new followers as well.
Cons
Laxity In Users
I really can’t find many things wrong with Tweet Spinner. In itself, it works like a charm.
The only area of concern regarding any automatic Twitter program/software is the laxity it can create for users. Like all things in life, it can become heavily abused. I see in my minds-eye Tweeters who setup a system like Tweet Spinner, let it auto-Tweet, and let it be.
But this isn’t the fault of Tweet Spinner.
Conclusion
All in all – I very much enjoy Tweet Spinner. It’s an easy-to-use, streamlined system. In essence – it’s a Twitter aide, and can make your entire user experience very much enjoyable.

Awesome – I highly recommend it. It certainly helps to free up a little more time for the important part of Twitter; communicating!
Twitter client I use is TweetAttacks.com
It’s great free alternative for starters. And for scheduling of my Tweets, I use Hoot Suite. Did you try their premium plan with statistics?

I used Tweet Spinner’s premium plan. The faster plan. It was great. It really pushed through the things I needed it to perform – which helped a lot.
This truly is a very important blog. Thanks for sharing this valuable information with us.

Thanks for spending time here. I appreciate it.
Hey Christian, I just clicked over to TweetSpinner and found I had to create an account to get anywhere. I don’t mind doing this, but don’t you think it would make sense to have a “log in with Twitter” function given its focus? Thanks for highlighting the tool. BTW, does it have a feature for auto follow backs?

It does have that feature, yes. To autofollow back. It does it at a relatively slower pace though; and not the fastest. As for the Twitter login, yes, you’d think they would have a way to login with those credentials. It’s done on many services with payment involved – so why not this one! Great thought.
