Families have a certain motivational power associated within their circle of influence. Mothers are experts at wrangling their children into the car in a timely manner. Fathers are often a prime example of pushing their children to “hit the pavement” and start working.
In my own family it’s always been beneficial to let my family know of my long-term blogging goals. Some of my goals include:
- Posts created per week
- Visitor count numbers
- Design, usability, and management updates
- Blog Income
Informing them of my blog time-line allows them to hold me accountable, and I receive the benefit of receiving a slight push in the right direction from the ones who love me most…when it’s needed most.
