I first went to Australia with the intention of getting to Med School there. A year and a half later I was in New Zealand and 10 years later, after graduating with a science degree and working in pharmaceuticals for 7 years I am going back to school to do my Medical degree. It may have take a bit of a round about way but I am working at what I originally intended to do (sticking with the plan). I guess having that plan made me really think what I wanted to do and the years in between gave me time to really think about it - who knows?
