Although it was a simple surprise – just a few days ago I noticed that over 100 people now subscribe to Smart Boy Designs via feed.
Over the years I’ve developed many websites for clients (and myself) and have always placed a strong emphasis on feeds – many of which have gone on to reach thousands of subscribers.
Eeach time a blog passes the 100 subscriber mark – I still get excited – as this is when blog visibility and follower bases really begin to explode. Word of mouth increases, inbound links develop & reader participation grows.
Feed “Growth” Tips
I’d like to suggest setting for yourself a goal of blog subscribers. Decide on a number that is reasonably attainable within the next couple of months. Focus on this number – place it on a sticky – and slap it on your desk as an every day reminder. The following are simple, trustworthy ways to grow your feed subscribers quickly.
- Start a blog contest
- Comment on other blogs
- Participate on Twitter and other social media communities
- Place feed links and graphics in prominent places within your blog
- Offer feeds via email delivery (via Feedburner)
Goals are important – as once accomplished – they will renew your vigor and desire to further expand your growth and opportunities.

Cool, nice website I have just discovered this blog actually. My future will prolly be decided with a few weeks and my make money online blog is at 37 subscribers now I hope it does boom out faster once it reaches 100 as u say.
