Today – is Mother’s Day. One of the most cherished days of the year – when we take time to honor the incredible women we share our lives with. It’s a day filled with thanks, flowers, and breakfast-in-bed – and we share this passion and affection for the Mother’s of our lives in honor of the greatest gift of all. The human element.
As bloggers it’s oftentimes easy to fall into a bubble-like trap of technology. We share our thoughts through an electronic medium – and without constant consideration, some forget that blogging isn’t about technology, electronics, or the latest blogging platform. It’s about people – and the interaction we share one with another.
Forgetting this crucial element, the human element – will become devastating to any blog.
We must take the time to realize that we’re all individuals – working to better our lives. Blogging is about sharing our passions, our messages, our information – in order to better the lives of those throughout the world.
Mother’s Day will quickly pass us by – but I feel it important that we take this time reevauluate ourselves, our goals, and our blogs – and realign our endeavors with the most crucial element of all. The human element.
How do you connect with the human element on your blog?

Hi,
I believe being connected and having the human element is essentially important for my blog and I always look forward to getting comments and feedbacks from readers. I like to comment when I want to and do not find it a hassle to comment at all but I seem to think most people dread and tend not to be bothered to leave comments even though they may have read some good articles in my blog.
A friend of mine once told me not to expect anyone or take readers for granted to leave any comments at all because my duty is supposed to write and for others to read only and nothing else.
For those rare few people who had left comments in my blog, I valued their comments a great lot and always promptly reply their comments. I always add the words “Thank You Very Much” for…………..”

I cannot write a blog without the human element since that is all I know about. I’ve been to a lot of blogs that forget that and think it’s great you pointed that out. Some are so wrapped up in technical information the writer forgets there are humans reading it – it is so text book and sterile. Good point Christian!
Thank you very much for taking the time to post this. Everyone should know about these things. I enjoy learning new things so I subscribe to blogs like yours. Garnet
