In 1970 Earth Day was created in order to inspire conservation and protection of the Earth’s environment. Earth Day has been held every April 22nd since.
There are many ways in which bloggers can do their part to protect the Earth on Earth Day. The following are just some of the few ideas I’ve come up with – so be sure to share your own.
- Turn Off the Computer & Extra Electronics - Many hardcore computer users tend to leave their computer on throughout the night. On occasion, possibly take the time to turn if off.
- Go Paperless - At this point I’ve gone completely paperless. If at all possible I always request PDF versions of documents, and all my files are stored on my hard drive. Experiment with this option – and see if it works for you.
- Have Windows In the Office - Be sure to have proper lighting coming into your office from the outdoors. This helps to conserve power greatly, as it’s possible to turn off a few lights if the lighting from your windows is sufficient.
- Plant a Tree - Although anyone can plant a tree, consider planting a tree in honor of the earth and your blog. Watch your tree grow as your blog grows with success.
- Spread the Word - At the fingertips of bloggers, is the power to reach millions of people. Take the time today to spread the word about Earth day, to your readers and community.
As you can see – there are many ways bloggers can honor the planet on Earth day. These are just a few of the hundreds of ideas I know are possible.

Nice posting, I agree with this. Many people don’t realize about this planet, even worst about power saving, they don’t care about the stock that is limited, like fuel and other..
