Interviews are the bread and butter of all news & editorial articles. CNN, NBC and every small newspaper publication across the globe – uses interviews to produce better content.

In the blogging sphere – interviews are also a powerful tool for article creation. There are many ways in which interviews can be used to strengthen the posts in your blog(s). They add credibility, are easy to produce, and add fresh content for your readers.

Creating Blog Validity & Credibility

The internet is filled with hundreds of thousands of blogs, and in many cases, it’s hard to get your blog heard amongst the growing crowd. Interviews are an excellent way to create validity and importance for your blog.

In order to achieve further blog importance it’s beneficial to seek interviewees who have credibility in your blog’s specific topic or field. In a later blog article I’ll discuss simple ways to approach interviewees in your field.

Ease of Content Production

One major benefit to using interviews in your blog is the ease in content production. You give your interviewee a list of simple questions, specific to a certain topic, and they write the content for you.

Interviews are excellent in that they are have a mutual benefit, as they produce intriguing content for your guests – and promote the person whom you’ve interviewed.

Interesting, Fresh Content

Interviews are an incredible way to keep readers intrigued and interested in your blog’s content. Not only may an interview bring in-depth information of a famous or credible person in your field, but it also can bring excellent up-to-the-minute news to your audience.

Conclusion

As you’ve seen here – interviews offer many benefits for “spicing” up blog content. Interviews generate credibility, offer ease of content production, and help to deliver fresh content. As mentioned previously, we’ll discuss how to approach potential interviewees in a later blog post.
